Because the fan faces the CPU, you can install the cooler with the six heat pipes on either side of the CPU to accommodate the RAM and motherboard heat sink placement.

The slim profile utilizes 62 aluminum fins and a raised copper coldplate to cram as much cooling potential as possible into the compact design. This cooler is compatible with Intel LGA1700, LGA1200, LGA1151, LGA1150, and LGA1155 sockets, as well as AM5 and AM4 sockets from AMD.
